Child/Infant Fare

Child:

A person is considered a child if he or she is between the ages of 2 and 11. The child should not complete the 12th birthday by the departure date. A child pays 75% – 80% of Adult Base fare depending on the airline. Base fare generally means the fare without adding the fuel surcharges and taxes. A child pays the same amount of tax as an adult.

Infant:

A person is considered an Infant if he or she is below the age of 2 years. Infants pay 10-20% of adult base fare plus some fuel surcharges and taxes. Rules for each airline vary slightly.
