Baggage Allowances

For international travel from US to India or India to the US, most airlines allow two Checked-In Bags each weighing no more than 50 pounds or 23 Kgs and one CarryOn or Cabin bag. For United Airlines international flights to and from India, the check-In bag allowance is one bag weighing no more than 50 lbs or 23 kgs. You may carry a second checked bag for an extra charge. One Cabin bag and one personal item are allowed at no charge.

All Children aged 2 years and above generally have the same baggage allowances as Adults. For Infants (less than 2 years old) different airlines have different limits.
